{"id":2773,"date":"2019-12-11T16:05:16","date_gmt":"2019-12-11T16:05:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.constructionplantworld.com\/news\/?p=2773"},"modified":"2019-12-11T16:05:16","modified_gmt":"2019-12-11T16:05:16","slug":"spal-strengthens-its-team-in-off-highway-and-agriculture-sectors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.constructionplantworld.com\/news\/2019\/12\/spal-strengthens-its-team-in-off-highway-and-agriculture-sectors\/","title":{"rendered":"Spal strengthens its team in off highway and agriculture sectors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As SPAL UK concludes celebrating its 10<sup>th<\/sup> Anniversary and another successful year in 2019, the business looks forward to 2020 with a renewed focus on two rapidly expanding sectors and has appointed Adam Betteridge as Business Development Manager for Agricultural and Off Highway aftermarkets.<\/p>\n<p>With an automotive and agricultural pedigree gleaned from Vanmatic and Corteco, Adam will be in his element in his new role consolidating former customer relationships and developing the market for SPAL\u2019s high performance axial fans and centrifugal blowers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery day is a \u2018school day\u2019 as I get to grips with SPAL and its huge product range,\u201d he says. \u201cHowever, I am really eager to build immediate customer relationships.\u00a0 I am the guy who will put on his wellies to attend a breakdown in the middle of a field so I can relate to the customer on a personal level before I clinch the sale.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A keen walker, Adam has recently completed a 26 mile stretch of the South West Coastal Path as well as scaling Snowdon, Scafell Pike and the Brecon Beacons with Kinder Scout in the Peak District next on the list.<\/p>\n<p>He also mixes sky diving and golf with fundraising for Birmingham Children\u2019s Hospital and local Warwickshire charity The Ups of Downs, in memory of his daughter Freya.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am looking forward to the challenge of growing the business and customers can expect an invite to a charity golf tournament in the next few months!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Matthew Morris SPAL UK MD commented:\u00a0 \u201cReally pleased to have Adam on board.\u00a0 He knows the market extremely well; in terms of his personality and capabilities (apart from favouring golf over cycling) he is a great fit for the rest of the team!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.spalautomotive.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.spalautomotive.co.uk<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Further Info: <\/strong>DDPR.
