HRN Tractors and Hill Engineering help Kubota\u2019s new KX085-5 debut in Scotland.<\/p>\n
Kubota\u2019s new eight-tonne mini-excavator, the KX085-5, has debuted in Scotland, complete with an award-winning Tefra quick hitch from Hill Engineering.<\/p>\n
The mono-boom KX085-5 has been supplied to Jarvie Plant Hire, who have nine sites throughout Scotland and the north-west of England, by HRN Tractors who themselves have seven depots throughout Scotland. HRN showcased the KX085-5, in Jarvie\u2019s livery, at the recent Black Isle Show.<\/p>\n
Jarvie Plant Hire have been using Hill\u2019s Tefra coupler since 2014, and HRN have fitted their own portfolio of five and eight-tonne Kubota excavators with the quick hitch since January 2021, purchasing almost 200 of the attachments \u2013 or an average of 9 per month \u2013 since then.<\/p>\n
A family business with more than 40 years expertise, HRN have the largest selection of used agricultural machinery in Scotland, with Kubota the newest addition to their franchise portfolio.<\/p>\n
HRN key account manager Andy Wilson said: \u201cWe like Hill\u2019s Tefra hitches for many reasons \u2013 there are only five moving parts so that immediately minimises the risk of something going wrong, there is a ball valve for safety, a spring back up for safety, and the hydraulic ram has a sheath for protection.\u201d<\/p>\n
He added: \u201cThey compare very well with other manufacturers.\u201d<\/p>\n
