Sandhurst opens it’s Bristol Hire Centre

The opening of a new Avonmouth hire centre last Thursday afforded Sandhurst a great opportunity to open the doors and welcome in customers old and new, friends, colleagues and suppliers. Auger Torque welcomed the occasion for an important new product launch – the largest earth drill to go on the market in the UK –  the new 65,000MAX. The 65,000Max held court with an auger flight of an impressive 1.5m diameter and attracted plenty of interest from both specialist Rail and Civil Engineering customers who were in attendance. The 65,000Max produces an astounding 66,000Nm of torque. Also on display and generating enquiries were market leading products from:  Atlas Copco, Zato, Generac and Thomson engineering. The 7500 Dust Fighter was shown off to admirers by Beat Nowrooz from Generac who was on hand to answer questions and to explain how the largest model in their range controls dust on larger demolition sites.

‘We’re proud to be at the forefront of innovation in rail, civil and demolition when it comes to excavator attachments and an occasion like this gives us the chance to champion the technical expertise of our suppliers and to promote the consistently superior service that Sandhurst can offer its customers.’ Said Keith Evans, Sales Manager, who gave special commendation to the supply of cream cakes at the impressive buffet!

Sandhurst’s Chairman, Tim Dean, was on hand with Engineering Director Neil Beard to describe Sandhurst’s approach to bespoke solutions. ’Sandhurst is uniquely able to meet the needs of larger or more complicated projects in the field, and the industry knows us for that,’ he said.

For high-performance, best brand equipment whether for hire or to purchase, Sandhurst is proven to be a one-stop shop with service built on a 45 year’s reputation in the industry. Sandhurst was pleased to secure some new contracts at it’s event and is looking forward to more of the same at RailLive and ScotPlant next year, according to Marketing Director Louise Dean. ‘We see ourselves as a driving force in the industry. Others follow, and come and go, but Sandhurst remains at the forefront and we’ve been pleased to see friendly faces at the event today. For Sandhurst, business is always personal. We take pride in what we do and that’s been plain today.’ Later that evening, one of Sandhurst’s apprentices, took the remains of the lavish buffet to a Homeless Centre in Bristol gaining the praise and thanks of Sandhurst for his kindly initiative.
