Sanitise your plant and machinery with a Trime X-SPLASH wash bay

In these chastening times, were frequent cleaning and proper hygiene is absolutely essential, Trime UK would like to remind all users of their X-SPLASH wash bays that the water in their X-SPLASH system will be pre-chlorinated.

Chlorine is a highly effective disinfectant which will help an operator to thoroughly sanitise plant and machinery as it returned from hire. This will go a long way to guard against Corona-virus (COVID-19) cross contamination.

In addition, the X-SPLASH recycling scheme ensures that no contaminated water is released is down the drain, rendering an operator free from prosecution under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 (section 33).

Trime UK’s managing director, Paul Hay, explains, “The X-SPLASH chlorine filter float container houses chlorine tablets which are applied to keep the water fresh and free from most types of contaminates. As the water is recycled and filtered within the X-SPLASH, the chlorinated water can be used over and over again.”

“This is particularly relevant in the current climate. If an incumbent user has any questions or if anyone is interested in the X-SPLASH, please be assured that the whole Trime UK team can still be contacted via our website or main telephone number.” added Paul.

The X-SPLASH is an ecological, flexible cleaning system for most types of plant and machinery. The X-SPLASH will help to prevent soil pollution and contamination of drains from oil, grease and other chemical contaminants commonly associated with the regular cleaning of site equipment. The cleaning area is connected to the rear solids collection tank section, which recycles the water through an arrangement of filters, which means that all heavy solids are safely contained and easily removed. From here the dirty water is pumped into the filtration tank where a series of filters removes smaller solid particulates, hydrocarbons and oils. Easy access to both the solids collection tank and filtration tank ensures all contaminates are disposed of properly.

Trime has significant experience in supplying a range of sustainable equipment to the UK equipment machinery markets. The Trime manufacturing plant is based in Cassinetta di Lugagnano, near Milan and the Trime UK is situated in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
