SITECH brings ‘work smarter’ focus to piling and drilling sector at Hillhead

Construction technology provider SITECH® UK & Ireland will widen the focus of its support to the ground engineering sector at machinery and equipment showcase Hillhead 2026.
The SITECH team will be sharing insights and demonstrating how digital integration supports a leaner and more efficient operation across a varied range of applications at the show. The Trimble Authorised Dealer said Hillhead is the ideal platform to raise awareness of the specialist areas it operates in, such as piling and drilling, to help customers meet regulations, stay up to date with rig technology, and deliver best practice in ground engineering.
It will use its exhibition space to highlight to visitors its hire and sell options, as well as training and ongoing support available from SITECH to help achieve a swift return on their technology investments.
Alex Gadd, Head of Business at SITECH UK & Ireland, said: “Our industry knowledge and technical support is a valuable resource for customers to tap into. We are committed to ensuring all operators, regardless of experience, are properly trained and educated in the use of construction technology.
“Whatever the machinery or project type, we can advise on and implement tailored construction technology solutions that meet demand and deliver benefits such as reduced waste, improved productivity and on and off site connectivity. A key area for us this year will be the piling and drilling sector.
“Connecting our customers to the tools that enable their businesses to thrive doesn’t stop at identifying the best software or software solution. We use our knowledge, experience and insight to help companies overcome wider challenges, such as decarbonisation and skills development, through extended support and training so they are benefiting from every improvement function available from the products they invest in.”
Taking place at Hillhead Quarry, near Buxton in Derbyshire, Hillhead was established 44 years ago and attracts more than 20,000 visitors and 600 exhibitors across three days. It features live demonstrations, interviews and displays in a working quarry setting, attracting the biggest names in quarrying, construction and recycling.
Gadd added: “By combining technology, training and expert support we can help customers to enhance sustainability and fleet performance and streamline operations for maximum efficiency. Technology adoption also improves safety onsite thanks to the impact its use has on resources, meaning less people are needed on site and this is something we are keen to discuss with visitors. We are looking forward to exploring with Hillhead visitors how we can work together on developing the future of businesses, particularly in the drilling and piling sectors.”
SITECH will be at Stand A33 during Hillhead 2026 which takes place from June 23rd to 25th, 2026. For more information on how SITECH supports ground engineering projects, visit www.sitechukandireland.com.
